I certainly can't say I'm friends with Richard, but I've spoken with him enough times over the years to have gotten the impression he's a solid person. Sounds like they had a really tight crew at Waterford, too.
I only met Richard once when he came to visit the shop. Very nice and even had dinner with us and played his violin(fiddle?) at the local bar late that night. I primarily spoke with David, who was very helpful, when calling them for orders and questions. Remember calling people?
I’m sure it’ll be a great listen later today while I’m working.
enjoyed the podcast and have enjoyed my 22 RS since 2008. rode it cross country in 2018,
great experience on a great bike. while not a "touring" bike it handled the task just fine.
rode across again to celebrate-mourn my 70th a couple years ago. this time on a
bike built by mark nobilette. mark lives and works out of his home base in longmont
colorado.
anyways, james and richard, thank you yery much.
Looking forward to this! I sold & built many of them in the early 00’s and can say the bikes and people at the company were great to work with.
