Who is this Campagnolo, anyway?

That Ari looks nice, but all of their bikes seem to have an aggressive geometry. Even their endurance bike is closer to a race bike geo than Domane/Roubaix. It seems that someone like Ari with no team to provide bikes for or racing pedigree to tout could clean up by offering a 700g frame with comfortable stack/reach, which no one else does.

Good tip on the cleats. Just replaced mine after a couple of months of occasional slippage 😅

I think I saw somewhere that John Prolly had the idea behind that Stinner photography stick.

That very well could be! I'll have to check with him on that.

Looking forward to the recipe where you make one out of delicious bread. Then eat it on the way home.

I’ve been replacing cleats individually on either side whenever one develops the slightest play, since I always put the same foot down and so one side wears faster anyway. I don’t know if everyone does that but once I started doing it I’ve eliminated that particular annoyance.

I think that's a good way to go. I also wear one side faster than the other, and this seems like a solid approach to stretch your dollar.

I didn’t know body covers were a wear item that could be swapped like the cleat, thank you James, I learned something…again!

They can technically be replaced, yes, but good luck finding them to buy! Thankfully, they wear *a lot* slower than the cleats.

Google search gave me results but you’re right, not that many and nothing easily available, some even more expensive than pedals 🤷🏻‍♂️

Van Dessel! It’s been a while since wi heard that name, I think I remember seeing these in Bicyling buyers guides some 20 years ago

Right? I used to love the original aluminum Gin&Trombones 'cross bike. The brand now is pretty different from what it used to be. Not sure yet if that's for better or worse.

I had to check but it looks like the g&t is what rested somewhere in my memories, liked the font of the logo and that’s gone, you’ll tell us about the things that matter
