Come on, if you were into bikes back in the late 80s and even semi-sentient you dug the XO-1, and all of the other “1” series bikes from Bridgestone, but I digress, that Haute bike looks amazing. It brings back memories not only of the Bridgestone bikes but of great Japanese steel tubing, Nitto components, and Sun Tour Superbe Pro group sets…

Somewhat related, Alex Howes is now running mustache bars on his Cannondale gravel bike.

No way, he is? Somehow that isn't at all surprising.

I think that Haute bikes build is my favorite bike from all these galleries...something about it...

If you haven’t already, you should read the backstory that I linked to in the comment. There was *a lot* of thought that went into that thing.

That is a good bike back story.

I wish Cane Creek would offer the 40 headset in silver again

I have the Lake Comfort Plus Trail shoe.

Best fitting production shoe of any kind that I have used. Almost as good as my self made custom shoes.

It is stiff, heavy and clunky, but I love riding in them

I’ve been waiting for a Bivo cap like that! Particularly for cold weather, although I stop to drink enough that I’d use it in warm weather too. One thing about the regular flow nozzle is that road dust can get down in there, so I end up stopping anyway to wipe it down.

Get the mud caps. Keeps the nozzle clean

I also use the caps to color code what I have in the bottles

That Orucase looks really well thought out but surely has to be heavier than other cases? That 50# weight limit is a huge factor flying with a bike.

It’s definitely heavy – something like 28 lb. But even if you’re bound by that 50 lb limit, most people should still be able to pack a road bike in there and not go over.
